Antique redware plate, likely from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, dating to the 18th or 19th century. Features yellow slip decoration, including lines and waves, on a brown glazed surface. Coggled (grooved/slotted) edge. Shows loss of glaze and slip colors, with a ~1" x ~1/2" chip at the rim. Back is darkened from use. Despite imperfections, it is a beautiful example of Pennsylvania Dutch pottery. As-is.
