Absolutely beautiful hand-painted Japanese ceramic urn or ginger jar. Features "Satsuma" artistry, a famous Japanese style. Every inch is meticulously painted with incredible detail, including hundreds of small paint dots for a wonderful effect. One side depicts a scene with eight Chinese or Japanese women, while the opposite side features about nine flowers of various sizes. The urn is continuously outlined in shiny gold and topped with a shiny gold knob. Bright, clean, and extremely colorful, with no cracks or scratches. A beautiful addition to any collection. Says "Made in China" on the bottom, with the name "Satsuma." Approximately 8 inches tall and 6 inches wide.
